The simplest implementation is a 4 ft by 6 foot cloth sign like a flag that is held up by a drone and held down by a tether cable.
PLEASE NOTE THE PICTURE SHOWS A MUCH LARGER SIGN
The tethering cable provides power to the drone so it does not rely on a battery.
The tether is held by a reel assembly that is designed to allow you to reel the sign down if the wind gets too high.
There is a power supply at the ground end of the tether that plugs into an AC power outlet (or can be powered by a 12 volt battery).

WHAT ABOUT WIND??
This sign is guaranteed to operate in wind up to 30 MPH. Over that you will need to take it down using the reel that reels in the tether.
There is an option to buy a motorized reel and a wind velocity sensor that will automatically reel it in when winds over 30 are detected.
