1 Garage door window UNBREAKABLE
THIS NEW WINDOW IS GUARANTEED TO BE UNBREAKABLE!
The guarantee is simple - if the window is broken by any means, rocks or baseballs (but not negligence) then you will get a new window sent free of charge and no shipping cost.
This window is 1/4 inch thick and is 12 inches by 16 inches to fit most garage doors. The window has 4 holes - one in each corner - for mounting screws. Also included are 32 8-32 rivet nuts.
THE FRAME YOU SEE IS PAINTED ON THE PLEXIGLASS - this makes the installation easier and saves you a lot of money.
This kit is for doors that are thin (One sided) or thick (two sided with foam inside). You will need to buy 8-32 screws to fit your door. Thin doors can use 1/2 inch long, thicker doors are up to you. If the thicker door has soft foam you might need to add a wood spacer.
The installation includes these steps.
1. Cut a hole in the door that is 10 inches by 14 inches.
2. USING THE PLEXI AS A TEMPLATE, MARK LOCATION AND Drill holes at each corner and install the rivet nuts.
3. Paint the edge of the plexiglass the color you want for the frame.
4. Put a bead of caulking around the door hole that will be hidden by your painted frame.
5. Place the plexi window in place and use the screws to hold in place.
